Hi guys, so I have been looking for a way to monitor when one of my cameras go Down.

It's really annoying that this system is so convoluted and not just a simple shortcut to the site. Hope this helps point you in the right direction.I couldn't find where it stores the URL for these shortcuts either, I figure it would just be a website pointing directly to the website, but no :) It isn't. I suspect in a db file somewhere but didn't dig any further. This is where I was lost cause I couldn't find where it keeps the URL needed. One labelled _crx_xxxxx (where xxxxx matches the app-id from above) which seems to hold the file icon.Īnd a second under "Manifest resources\xxxxx" (again where xxxxx matches the app-id from above) subfolder, but seems to only hold more file icons. Searching the file path for Chrome user data "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Web Applications\" point too two separate subfolders. The Target path of the shortcut uses a flag "app-id=xxxxxxx" I was using Chrome to save Shortcuts to the desktop. But moving it between users was unsuccessful, so not the end all solution, but hopefully will get you closer. I tried to solve it once, so here was my breadcrumbs.
